Cher and Lady Gaga finished recording their duet “The Greatest Thing” in July, and now the track has a general release date. Cher tweeted recently: “SEPTEMBER RT @GagaInfectioN @cher When r gonna release the greatest thing ? Can’t wait !! Should be epic !”

Gaga’s role in Cher’s comeback role has been vague. Originally, Cher claimed Gaga wrote the track as a “gift,” but more recently, the singer and Oscar-attractive actress tweeted on August 11: “Hey @ladygaga sittn w @Kathygriffin she wants 2 no if u did the vocal yet ?
